School Supply List
Dear Parents and Guardians, Welcome! Below you will find the official School Supply List for the school year. We appreciate your support in helping our students start the year prepared and ready to succeed. Thank you for being a valued part of our school community!
M. C. Perry MHS Supply List
Note: The requested supply quantities may vary depending on your child’s schedule. Teachers may also have specific/unique requirements for their classrooms. Prior to buying supplies that vary in quantity, parents should review specific requirements with their child’s teachers or by reviewing course syllabi.
6th - 12th Grades
- Backpack/book bag big enough to fit a 2-3” binder and a Chrome Book. No wheels please.
- Students enrolled in JROTC: For backpacks to be worn while in uniform, they must be black or “coyote” (desert tan) colored with no logos.
- 1 pack pens (blue/black)
- 2 packages of pre-sharpened No. 2 pencils (24 count)
- 1-2 rubber erasers
- 1 package of highlighters (prefer a variety of colors)
- 1 package of colored pencils
- 3-4 glue sticks
- 1 ruler (12”) (please ensure ruler has inches indicated on it)
- 1 pair of school scissors
- 1 pair personal plug-in headphones for Chromebook
- 1 reusable water bottle
- one-subject spiral notebook(s) - (quantity varies)
- bound composition notebook (s) - (quantity varies)
- package(s) of loose-leaf paper - (quantity varies)
- pocket folder(s) - (quantity varies)
- binder(s) (1”, 2” or 3”, 3 ring binder) - (quantity varies)
- binder dividers - (quantity varies)
- For Geometry, students must have a compass and protractor
- Students enrolled in music courses will have further required items as outlined in the course syllabus
Recommended:
- Personal-sized packet(s) of tissues
- Personal-sized bottle of hand sanitizer
- Colored pens for correcting and editing projects
Notes:
- Teachers may request additional supplies to improve the classroom learning environment (e.g., post-it-notes, index cards, graphing calculators, etc.). Please have your student inquire with their teacher on specific classroom requirements, or review the class syllabus.
- Supplies need to be replenished as the school year progresses.
- All students are required to wear athletic pants/shorts (no jeans) and gym shoes during PE class.
- All students are required to wear closed-toe shoes for science labs.
- Culinary Arts students are required to wear non-skid, waterproof, closed-toed shoes during cooking labs.
